Greetings from the Divine Mercy Asia Manila Office !

We thank You and all those who participated at the recently concluded Asian Apostolic Congress On Mercy (AACOM’09) held in Manila, Philippines last November 20-22.

We enjoin you to please take to heart the Vision-Mission of the Asian Congress as you open up to the proceedings of your National Congresses.

Christoph Cardinal Schonborn, President of the World Apostolic Congress On Mercy (WACOM) as duly appointed by His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, continually reminds us to be “witnesses of Mercy in our daily lives !”

Rev. Fr. Patrice Chocholski, WACOM General Coordinator was very pleased with the Asian Congress and considered the event a success commending its depth and magnitude in  proclaiming mercy in its triple dimension of mystery, communion, and mission.  He sends to us all his gratitude and encouragement !

Should you or your group need any assistance or clarification to get properly aligned with your National Congress in pursuit of our Asian Vision-Mission, our Divine Mercy Asia Secretariat Manila Office shall make itself available to provide the necessary guidelines or information. Likewise, we shall be grateful for your compliance to send us a quarterly report of your Programs and Activities to be included in our Annual Asian Report submitted to WACOM.

Coming up this April 29, 2010 will be the WACOM International Executive Team Meeting wherein Asia will  be represented by Msgr. Josefino S. Ramirez, WACOM Coordinator-ASIA and our Secretariat as duly directed by Rev. Fr. Patrice. Our main agenda will be the preparations for the 2nd World Apostolic Congress On Mercy scheduled in Poland.

Preparations are ongoing for the Philippine Apostolic Congress On Mercy (PACOM) which shall take place in the Archdiocese of Lipa  on April 19-22, 2010. Afterwhich, preparations shall be done at the Archdiocesan/diocesan level and later, at a Parish level.

It is the aim of these Congresses to establish The Divine Mercy as a Spirituality, a Message, and a Devotion  within the Catholic Church in its triple dimension : mystery, communion, & mission that it may penetrate all sectors of the society and all aspects of life.
